Healthcare Risk Management: Worker's Compensation

Hospitals are hazardous places to work according to OSHA's latest report. In 2011, hospitals recorded 253,700 work-related injuries and illnesses. This is a rate of 6.8 work-related injuries and illnesses for every 100 full-time employees, almost twice the rate for private industry as a whole.  Risk management becomes a primary concern for health administrators under these conditions.
